Funding for Welfare Caseworker

Thetford Town Council has allocated £30,000 per year, for two years, to fund a welfare and benefits caseworker at CADAT. CADAT has match-funded this to offer support to the wider Breckland community as part of our Welfare & Benefits Pillar. Diss Carnival!

Citizens Advice Diss and Thetford had an incredible time at Diss Carnival connecting with our wonderful community and celebrating in the spirit of Around Our World! We gave away fresh fruit from The Shelf Pop-Up Pantry and wristbands. Thanks to all who were involved.

Our team had a wonderful time at this year’s Norfolk Show, joining a fantastic mix of local businesses. A big thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, learn more about what we do and, of course, spin the wheel for a chance to win some fun prizes.

The Shelf Pop-Up Lands in Narborough

Our 6th pop-up is live! Narborough residents can now get food, supplies, support and connection – right on their doorstep. Join us every Tuesday, 1-3pm. We believe no community should be left behind. Made possible by the support of Breckland Council and Norfolk Community Foundation.
