Notice of Annual General Meeting of
Citizens Advice Diss, Thetford and District
(‘the Charity’)
To be held on Thursday, 8th October 2020 at 5 p.m. online via Zoom
Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting (Meeting) of Citizens Advice Diss, Thetford and District (the Charity) will be held online on Thursday, 8th October, 2020 to transact the following business:
1. Public Welcome by Marion Morse, MBE, the Chair of Trustees of the Charity.
2. To receive apologies for absence and any declarations of interest.
3. Approval of minutes: 3.1 Resolution: That the Minutes of the Annual General Meeting of the Charity held on10th October, 2019 be approved.
4. Resolution: That the accounts of the Charity for the financial year ended 31 March 2020 be approved and adopted.
5. To receive the progress report of Marion Morse, the Chair of Trustees.
6. The election of Trustees:
6.1. Resolution: That Nick Bennett be elected a Trustee.
6.2. Resolution: That Jill Wade be elected a Trustee.
6.3. Resolution: That Patrick Gorman be re-elected a Trustee.
6.4. Resolution: That Marion Morse be re-elected a Trustee.
6.5. Resolution: That Julia Glenn be elected at this meeting in accordance with the Articles of Association of the Charity
7. Resolution: That notice is given to Larking Gowen, and Sally-Ann Delf to be appointed as the Independent Examiners of the Charity from 2020/21.
8. To discuss any other business properly conducted at an Annual General Meeting of the Charity.
9. To invite individuals and organisations in agreement with the aims and principles of the Citizens Advice Service to become Members of the Charity.
