The Shelf is our community food hub, offering members a wide range of affordable groceries to help them eat well for less.

We are always on the lookout for willing volunteers to help us manage deliveries, restock shelves, and learn how to use our point of sale system. If you’re interested in starting your 3 hour shift 3 times a week, then click to find out more.

In addition to our volunteering roles, we offer a variety of donation options, such as sponsoring a shelf or donating groceries.

CADAT is bringing energy support and insight to your doorstep with our latest project: ‘Wise and Warm Norfolk,’ dedicated to all energy-related matters.

We offer specialist energy advice by phone, email and face-to-face appointments to residents in the Diss and Thetford district.

We help with a wide range of energy related consumer advice including billing queries, reviewing tariffs, switching, dealing with fuel debts, benefit entitlements, grants and energy efficiency improvements – and help customers to access extra support.

We also offer energy advice sessions to local community groups and frontline staff and volunteers.
