At Citizens Advice Diss and Thetford we provide advice, support and guidance to individuals and the community as a whole. Here are some of the things we do to make an impact, as well as feedback from people like you.
The Big C Project
Support
In 2023, we supported over 900 people facing a cancer diagnosis with specialist welfare and benefits
£2.7m
overall, in 2023 we gained £2.7m worth of income back into people's pockets who accessed our specialist support via our partnership with the Big C
Relieved
During a very challenging time people that said they relieved and reassured to be offered this support
No Barriers
We offer a no barriers approach to support, advice and guidance.

Hardship & Crisis
Support
In 2023-2024, we've worked with over 400 people to support them in finding a way forward who are facing some form of hardship, debt or crisis.
Debt
50 people who were at risk of being made homeless are no longer in that situation due to support with rent arrears. Most people we saw had some form of unsustainable debt. We've worked with people to write off debt worth over 500k.

We work together, hand in hand with our clients to seek the best next steps that's right for their situation.
