Introducing the Shelf Pop-Up Pantry

We’re excited to introduce The Shelf Pop-Up Pantry, a mobile community food hub that brings affordable, nourishing food and well-being support to rural villages across Breckland. As part of the Nourishing Norfolk Network, we are proud to collectively support over 33,000 members, helping to provide easier access to essential goods and advice right where it’s needed most.

The Pop Up Pantry is available at Old Buckenham

📍 Mondays:

Lopham’s Village Hall, Diss | 9:30am – 11:30am

Weeting Village Hall | 1:30pm – 3:30pm

📍 Tuesdays:

Swanton Morley Village Hall | 10:30am – 12:30am

📍 Wednesdays:

Old Buckenham Village Hall | 9:30am – 11:30am

💡Upcoming Pop-Ups will be announced on our socials.

Through this initiative, we offer not just fresh fruit, vegetables, and bread, but also health and wellbeing support to improve daily life. Our goal is to make life a little easier for everyone, offering vital products and friendly advice to help you and your family.

This community food hub project is made possible thanks to the collaboration between Citizens Advice Diss, Thetford and District, with the generous support of Breckland Council, Norfolk Community Foundation, Lopham Parish Council, The Pantry, Kenninghall, and everyone involved in the Nourishing Norfolk Network.

Get Involved - Volunteer Or Donate

We need your help to keep this initiative thriving!

If you’re passionate about making a difference in your community, we’d love for you to get involved by volunteering or donating to The Shelf Pop-Up Pantry.

Volunteer with us: We’re always looking for friendly faces to help out! Volunteers assist with setting up, stocking shelves, and helping visitors during the event. Some roles may involve lifting and moving items, so if you’re physically able and willing to lend a hand, your help would be greatly appreciated.

Donate: If volunteering isn’t for you, another way to support is by donating items. Whether it’s tinned food, dried goods, or other essentials, every little bit helps us provide affordable food to those in need.

Our Heartfelt Thanks

This project and other work like it could not have been possible without the unwavering support and collaboration from all our partners. A huge thank you to Breckland Council, Norfolk Community Foundation, Lopham Parish Council, The Pantry, Kenninghall, and everyone involved in the Nourishing Norfolk Network. Your belief in our mission fuels our determination to make a difference.
